Re: “Bookends on Tap” vs. Bookends for iOS
Sounds worth an upgrade.
- Is it an upgrade or is it a whole new program? That is, do I have to download all my references and attachments again.
- It looks like cloud sync costs extra. Will it still sync over wifi?
Much Thanks, Mark

“Bookends on Tap” vs. Bookends for iOS
I am still happily using “Bookends on Tap 2.6.3” without problems. Somewhere along the line I missed the announcement of the new version. I came here looking for a feature comparison to see if I am missing anything. Where would I find that?
Much Thanks, Mark

Format for Wipf and Stock and their Imprints
I made for Wipf and Stock and their imprints. It mostly works. The main problem is the automatic insertion of periods even if it is in the middle of the sentence. I suspect the best way to handle it would be to remove the periods from the citation format and add them manually in the text. However, t...

Re: Amazon uk online search impossible
Having the same problem here in Canada.
This seems short sighted on Amazon's part. Searching Amazon is an opportunity to see what they are charging for a book and possibly purchase it.
I don't suppose there is anyway we can make our concerns known to Amazon?
Thanks for a great product.

Re: Store Passwords in Bookends Browser
I don't know if it would be any easier but I wonder if it would be possible to specifically support 1Password? It seems to be the most popular software of its kind on OS X

Store Passwords in Bookends Browser
I frequently log into my University's library through the Bookends browser so I can import PDFs directly into Bookends. However, that means I am frequently typing in my username and password. Is there any way to store this information so it is inputed automatically? Some way to work with 1Password o...

Re: MS Word plugin – will it work with the new 2016 release?
Restart fixed the problem until I did a proofreading scan. Then the problem returned. I was using Fastscripts but switched to the regular scripts menu. I get the error with Fastscripts. With the Scripts menu nothing happens and no error is provided. Of the five Bookends scripts only scan and unseen ...

Re: Convert Author-Date format to Footnotes
Sounds great.
I owned a copy of Nisus Writer back in the days of OS 9 but don't currently have one and don't have a current need (other than this application).
I guess I am stuck with manually creating them.
Thanks anyway,
Mark

Re: MS Word plugin – will it work with the new 2016 release?
This worked just fine for a while.
However, today when I went to scan a document I got the following error:
Error Number: -1728
Microsoft Word got an error: The object you are trying to access does not exist
