Key field & Autofill From the Internet
Hello, I think there is an issue with the Key field and the Autofill From the Internet command Let's say I have a reference with the following Key cornellus2012 If I use the command "Autofill From the Internet" on this reference, then cornellus2012 becomes cornellus2012a If I use again the...

Re: smart folder
I was referring to the definition of a given smart folder
For instance if I want my smart folder named "penalized" to contain either papers with the keyword "penalized" or the tag "penalized"

smart folder
Hello
In the current version of smart groups, spotlight tags and other field queries are related by an AND. The same is true with search attachments. I was wondering if it could be possible to choose between OR and AND

Moving a reference from one bookend library to another
Hello I am in the process of creating a new library, by moving references from library1 to library2 (library1 is a bookends library) For library2, I have set the attachment folder to a subfolder named library2 When I drag and drop a reference from library1 to library2 I would expect that the attache...
Re: quicktag
I look forward to seeing the next version of Bookends !
Re: quicktag
Would the search be performed in the keyword field or were you thinking of something broader (maybe to be chosen by the user) ?Jon wrote:A smart group would have a name that launched a search for it and anything in it's subgroups.

That sounds great

Re: quicktag
Exactly. Ismail, what was wrong in your description at 3.55pm? I was wrong when writing "all papers tagged with elasticnet are automatically tagged with penalized regression and methods all papers tagged with lasso are automatically tagged with penalized regression and methods" Sente seem...
Re: quicktag
Sorry to be dense, but that doesn't help. If I were writing a hierarchical structure, it would be top-down, like a folder hierarchy. Methods --Western blot --SDS PAGE ----Electrophoresis Click on Methods gets all. Click on Western blot gets Western blot, SDS PAGE, and Electrophoresis. Click on SDS ...
Re: quicktag
What I was attempting to illustrate with elastic net and lasso is that they are on the same level of hierarchy
So there is no reason that when I tag a file with lasso it also get the elasticnet tag

Re: quicktag
Sorry you are right
my mistake. I checked on sente and what I described in the post "Wed Oct 28, 2015 3:55 pm" is wrong

Re: quicktag
because elasticnet is a type of penalized regression, and the lasso is another type of penalized regression
