Reference Entire Volume/Issue
Is there any way to autocomplete reference information on an entire issue of a journal/magazine ( e.g., the summer issue of "xxxxx" is "titled" ). I have tried using Google Scholar, it returns multiple references to specific articles in a particular issue, but I am looking to cre...

Re: Command + A Hijacked by Bookends
I don't think the workflow was the issue. I think, at some point, I manually assigned the aforementioned key combination.

Re: Command + A Hijacked by Bookends
Yep, I had tried all those options already. Found a relatively obscure app that gave more accurate info than KeyCue. The problem ended up being an Alfred Workflow for Bookends. Disabled it, and all is well again. Thanks.

Command + A Hijacked by Bookends
Over the past few days, pressing Command + A ( select all ) in any application activates Bookends ( the app ). If I press Command + A anywhere again, the window switches to Bookends instead of “selecting all.” If I press Command + A WHILE using Bookends, I can actually see that it is selecting “Edit...

Re: Attachments not found
I hope this is not straying from the original intent of this thread, but I need to revisit this: The message "Can't find file "xxxx-xxxx.pdf" appears to be related to the "Optimizing Mac Storage" option on Mac's OS. When you choose to "optimize Mac storage", your M...

Re: Issues with Autocomplete
yep, did that as well (i.e., waited up to 48 hours), but it still will not fill in the information when I hit import. I will try the JSTOR route though not all of my PDFs have DOI's, and Google Scholar usually finds info on obscure publications...... Scratch that. It is now working with Google Schol...

Re: Issues with Autocomplete
Thank you for the quick reply; unfortunately, I have tried this approach, and I am still unable to populate any of the fields for recently imported articles. GS frequently considers me a robot, much more so recently, and I am not sure why. In any case, even if I successfully finish the "Captcha...

Issues with Autocomplete
I am experiencing a relatively new issue: when I select to "autocomplete" a newly imported paper, I am usually able to find the correct reference information using Google Scholar Search; however, when I select "import" all fields for the new attachment are empty (e.g., no title, ...

Re: Attachments not found
Is there any way to create a smart group to include all of these "can't find" files? I am experiencing the same issue and, like the OP, I can reattach when teaching for them in my iCloud account. Having all of these files in one group would at least make this process a little quicker, but ...

Sort by attachments
Sorry if this is a silly question, Is there a way to sort entries by the number of paper clips shown in, what I believe is, the "Author" field? This sort would hopefully simply separate those references with one paper clip shown versus those references with two paper clips shown. I need to...
