Thanks for the quick reply. The idea with the wrong date format was correct, but the solution are dots:
dateAdded > datediff( now(), '01.01.1904 00:00:00', 'second' ) - (1* 24 * 60 * 60)
This works.
Additional question: why don't you simply work with unix timestamps?
Best,
Christoph

'Added today' group remains empty
Hi, since some time, I recognize a false behavior for the 'added today' smart group. I din't exactly know when it stopped working, but I guess it began with one of the recent updates. The SQL code for the group is unchanged: dateAdded > datediff( now(), '01/01/1904 00:00:00', 'second' ) - (1 * 24 * ...

Re: Bug in Autocomplete Feature
OK...
Well, what MacOS does when I 'select all' (cmd-A) contents of a field and start typing actually IS deleting the old content and replacing it with new one.
Or am I wrong?

Bug in Autocomplete Feature
Hi, I found a little bug in the autocomplete feature (I just tried this for the 'Authors' field). When you have to type in several papers in the same journal volume manually it's a good idea to type in the basic infos (journal name, volume, year etc) for the very first paper and add the other papers...

Re: Attach one PDF to multiple refs?
Hi,
I think just found a bug in the new multi attach feature in version 12.5.9. The multi attachment doesn't seem to work When the 'Move to attachment folder' checkbox is selected. When deselecting it everything is fine!
Greetings,
Christoph

Re: Google Scholar only working with VPN connection to University
Hi! Thanks for your reply! No, I didn't enter a proxy, neither in Bookends nor in my Mac's network settings. Well, it seems to be an issue with my FTTH fibre connection. When I connect to the internet using my iPhone's hotspot via LTE everything works fine, even without VPN. I tried the following: -...

Re: Google Scholar only working with VPN connection to University
Hmmm... this doesn't seem to be the problem! There are no special proxies configured and I deactivated all the firewalls (in the FTTH-Router and my Airport Extreme) for testing. No change... Google Scholar only gives hits after enabling the VPN connection...
Might this be such an IPv6 problem?

Google Scholar only working with VPN connection to University
Hi, as I just realize, the Google Scholar search is only working when a VPN connection is established to our University network. When typing a search string to the top line in the 'Online Search' window, it says 'No matches' without VPN. With VPN it works fine if the VPN connection is established BE...

Re: Attach one PDF to multiple refs?
Hi Jon, thanks for replying! Is there any chance to see this feature in a future version? I think it's astonishing that never ever someone requested it. Anyway: as Bookends not works as expected (you CAN multiselect refs in the library window, but drag and drop only affects the first of the selected...

Attach one PDF to multiple refs?
Hi, I have one question that might be a quite stupid new-one I guess. I have PDFs of the whole issue of a journal so the contain several papers (up to 15 or so). Therefore I created 15 refs for the single papers and wanted to attach the one PDF to all of them by selecting all of the new refs in the ...
