Re: How to scan from OpenOffice?
Just another idea...(again, I am just a user of Bookends trying to help). Is it possible that you did not select the correct word processor in the settings of Bookends? See attached image I really appreciate your help. This time I'm quite sure - I use Scrivener, and Scrivener is selected. I write i...

Re: How to scan from OpenOffice?
I am just a user of Bookends, but I have a few questions regarding your problem: What kind of file is it, you are trying to scan? Have you previously worked with Bookends on this file? How do the references look like within the text? Are they already formatted? On my Mac I switched to Mellel+Booken...

Re: How to scan from OpenOffice?
btw, I've got Pages 5.6.1. too. Latest version, according to Apple. There ought to be something like Biblio > Scan open Apple Pages documents. I can't find that either ... I (blush) found out the Biblio > Scan open Apple Pages document is inside Bookends, not inside Pages. Stupid of me But now Booke...

Re: output same author, several books
It seemed - at least right now - that even {Burr, 1995, #47331} {Burr, 2015, #50981} instead of {Burr, 1995, #47331}, {Burr, 2015, #50981} did the trick. I got (Burr 1995, 2015). As for the ibid., I am working on it. Thank you for your help. And an apology: despite the manual clarifying a lot, I oft...

Re: output same author, several books
I have changed settings to "Use year-only for repeated authors" and "For repeated citations use ibid.", but it doesn't make any difference.

output same author, several books
For the time being I'm getting this: (Burr, 2010), (Burr 2015). I'd like to get this: (Burr 2010, 2015). And: When referring to Burr several times, I always get (Burr 2015). I'd like to get (op cit) or something like it sub sequentially. I can't find the solution for that, and I'm a bit afraid of th...

(Fairclough 1989, 2013, 2015)
How do I achieve this output? Same author, different books. I've tried to find the answer in the tutorial, but I'm not sure how to phrase the question.
Any hint would be appreciated.

swedish characters
When looking up "Åkesson" in Libris (swedish national library) it doesn't seem to matter which encoding I choose: none of them shows the correct characters - mostly it's a spanish question mark instead of Å.
