I found the problem. I have an equation embedded in my Word document that has brackets in it, which was my default citation delimiter. So I've changed the citation delimiter.

I don't know, but that certainly could be the problem. I will strip out all of the references and re-add them. Thanks Jon.

Hi, I'm trying to sync my Bookends on Tap to my computer, but I don't see the devices menu. Is this because the device (iPad Pro) is not being recognized, or (hopefully) there is some reason I my device menus is not displaying.

If I click on a reference that I have just imported, the action of clicking causes a second reference to be highlighted. I'll try rebuilding the library.
