Just updated to Bookends 3.1 on IOS and the WiFi sync is working flawlessly -- though the initial sync took an age for a large library.

Jon,

You can also get rid of the problem if you use either the `Single Page' or `Two Pages' option (as opposed to `Single Page Continuous' or `Two Pages Continuous'). Navigation is then a bit more painful though -- Show Thumbnails helps.

Jon, Serge, Thanks! That is wonderful news. Jon, Re: PDF compression. I'm not certain it's going to help with annotation bloat. I normally start out with a nice compressed PDF. Annotate nice compressed PDF and you get a bloated PDF. Compression might help in getting the file into BEiOS but what happ...

However, the iCloud-only sync is a problem: (1) The 50MB limit on attachments seems reasonable until annotation-bloat results in originally small files swelling to well over that limit.
