Re: Duplicate entries on import
As Jon's advice is that it must be something about our machines, and I haven't a clue where to start looking You shouldn't have to fix or find the source of these problems yourself, that's the developer's responsibility. I finally resolved this problem and others I've reported by upgrading to Zoter...

It seems to be associated with the metadata not being found.

Re: Duplicate entries on import
Created a new library.
Configured the same watch folder, and started watching.
Dropped the article linked below in the folder.
Two entries were created.

Duplicate entries on import
I have Bookends watching a folder /Users/john/Documents/Articles\ for\ Bookends When I put a PDF in the folder, Bookends imports it, but multiple entries are created, one of which has the article attached. I think this only happens when the metadata is not found online, but not positive. Is there a ...

Re: Cloud sync error: you can’t save the same record twice
That’s what I wound up having to do (download).
There were a couple of static groups with the same id as the error was complaining about. I appended an ‘a’ and ‘b’ to them, but it still didn’t work. Hopefully I didn’t lose the refs in those folders.

Using the latest version of Bookends (v3.4.1) on iOS, sync set to iCloud.

Another copy of Bookends is running - override
I'm sick in bed, and it would be really nice to be able to override the copy of Bookends running on my other computer without having to go to the computer and close it. Would it be possible to have a "lock other copy" button that would switch exclusive access to the current computer? Thanks

Re: Tagging behavior changed in 13.2
• When entering a PDF tag, pressing Return or Enter accepts the tag. Pressing Tab accepts the tag and places the cursor in a new empty tag field so you can enter another.
Thanks Jon!

Tagging behavior changed in 13.2
The Return/Enter/Tab key used to complete the entry of the tag text being entered, then move to the next tag field ready for the next tag. This has changed in 13.2, as shown in this screen recording After typing Return and Enter, I click off the window and the tag text is accepted. After typing hier...
