I may have misremembered, in still working through the transition from Sente.
Command-Y switches to Pages, then Command-V pastes the citation.

As an update I (in a roundabout way) followed Jon's recommendation. I created a new document, then added portions from the old one. As it was not a long piece, rather testing Bookends again (in seeking a Sente replacement), this was not time consuming. In my case, there must have been some gremlins ...

insert citation in pages after update (13.0.5)
I may have missed something, though inserting a citation in pages is not working after the update to 13.0.5. Pages comes to the front, though the citation is not pasted in with command+Y (I can copy the citation and paste it) I have the same outcome on a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (Touchbar). Anyon...

Is anyone else having issues scanning an open Pages document? Have tried on two different laptops (MacBook Air; MacBook Pro with Touch Bar) on macOS High Sierra and macOS Sierra.
