How do I know my new style is using the journal glossary?

Hello, I would like to know how do I export references so that the Journal Abbreviations have punctuation:

J. Anim. Sci.

not

J Anim Sci

using j in the field order does not do it.

Yes, it does! now, the question is why spotlight cannot find 'AllReferences.bdb', but that is a spotlight issue.
