Re: Custom reference types/field labels missed after update
Hi Jon, I’m not a software developer so I guess I don’t understand the difficulties in explaining bugs. I have experience in system administration though and one thing I’ve learned is that users losing data is a bad place to be, and if you have to explain you’re already losing. I know what a 24 or 1...

Re: Custom reference types/field labels missed after update
Time Machine did not offer me an option for previous versions of the preference files. Luckily I have a propriety backup service running that allowed me find a previous versions of the file. Modified reference types have reverted to default names
Hi Jon,
For some reason the Reference Types which I have customised have reverted to generic names e.g. Unused 2. I don't know if only the name is affected or the settings as well. Is there a way to undo whatever has caused this?

Re: citation options for different types
Hi Jon, I've created a new type called EU publication and when I choose Cite by: custom in Citation Options I can choose the name order that I wish as you describe. However when I select a standard type i.e. Journal , the custom option is also assigned there (as opposed to author-date which I would ...

citation options for different types
Is it possible to set citation options for different types when using a particular referencing style (Harvard). I would like to use one configuration of Author, Date for journal articles and another for EU publications i.e. "Atkinson, B" vs. "European Commission", for example. Is...
