hard to re-select/copy highlighted text in pdf viewer

In pdf viewer, I can highlight some text. But afterwards, when I try to re-select the text, a grey box shows up around the highlighted text, giving me a hard time to select/copy. See attachment. Is there any option to turn this off? Is it a bug or a feature, or something else? Thanks! Screenshot 201...

restore folder/group selection and sort order upon restart

Hi ,
Say I selected ABC folder, and sort papers by Date. But upon restart, Bookends auto selects the All. Is it possible to keep the selection upon restart?
