Exporting References to Markdown Potential Bug - Slow to Generate Notes
Hello! I think there may be a bug. Could be wrong though. I selected about 1000 references and exported the notes to a markdown file using the built in export feature. This is the same feature that allows exporting the PDF annotations along with them. But I only had it generate the text notes from t...

Re: Feature Request: Open Attachment with Default Button on Taskbar
It sure does! I always just thought it was a little image and that was it! I hate to say it, but I would still prefer the toolbar button--the paperclip image on the reference is maybe 1/4 the size of a toolbar icon? It is kind of hard to click. I know, the user always seems to be unsatisfied, but I ...

Feature Request: Open Attachment with Default Button on Taskbar
Hello! I know that there is a hotkey command for opening a selected reference in the default PDF viewer, but could you add a little icon to the toolbar as well? DevonTHINK has this and it has become one of my most used features. And, because it is on the customizable toolbar, not every user has to u...

Re: No More Quick Scrollcin iOS App?
Ok glad it’s not just me. For what it’s worth, I use an Apple Pencil all the time with the app and have never run into this problem. I don’t know how prevalent the problem is, but it was such a useful feature, please please bring it back

No More Quick Scrollcin iOS App?
Hello! There used to be a quick scroll at the bottom of pdf view that would show up when you turn a page. You would see the page you’re one but also a bunch of little images of other pages so you could quickly move through the pdf. Lately that feature does not appear for me. I know there is the zoom...

Re: attachement link lost / attachement not found
I was the original poster of this quite a while back so I thought I might chime in, since I received an email that this topic was recently updated. I have not had the issue since Jon suggested downloading... I think it was 13.5, way back when the issue first presented itself. I didn't do anything el...

Currently Selected Reference Changes When I Leave the App
Good day. Currently running the latest version of Bookends 14.0.3, but this was present in the last version as well. Here is where I encounter the problem. First, it seems to only happen when I create a new reference. So, I create the new reference, and then I begin filling in the details such as au...

Re: Database Commit Size Exceeded Cloud Sync
Yeah I have plenty of space in iCloud and my hard drive. I only have 2180 references. This has never happened before. I am seriously wondering if there is some limit somewhere of 100 because there are 101 "changes" it is trying to upload. In any case, just to be clear... I should hit the c...

Database Commit Size Exceeded Cloud Sync
Good morning! I searched the forums but didn't find anyone else with this problem. I deleted quite a few static groups in my library. Now it says it needs to update like 101 records when I press the cloud sync button. However, after it tries to do this, it gives me the error: "Cloud Sync: BAD_R...

Re: Detaching Attachments such as Epub
Nevermind! Just figured it out. For anyone trying to do such a thing: There is something called the Attachment Inspector. It is not the pane below or to the right where attachments can be previewed. Instead, you click "Inspector" (it has a little icon of an italic "i".) This will...

Detaching Attachments such as Epub
Hello! I know how to detach a PDF file. But I attached an epub file to a reference and now I want to detach it after I later converted it to PDF. Yet, when I search for the menu to detach, it does not exist like it does for PDFs. By this, I mean when you go to the pane on the furthest right you can ...
