Re: Only cite first line of a field
Thanks! I like the DOI solution. That will do for 80% of my cases.

Only cite first line of a field
I sometimes have more than one URL for a paper in the URL field. However, the citation should then typically only include the first of these URLs. Therefore, I am wondering whether it is possible to tell the formats manager to only cite the first line of the URL field. Suggestions very much welcome!

Re: Attachment as a criterion in smart groups
I had read about the virtual groups but again forgotten about them -- fantastic.

Re: Show cover art from attachment folders
Thanks, Jon, for trying. I attach a screenshot to illustrate what I mean. I think we both refer to the same view, just with the difference that you see a preview of the first file in the folder whereas I see the folder icon. Is that correct? I mu...

Attachment as a criterion in smart groups

Show cover art from attachment folders
When I have more than one attachment for a reference, I organize the attachments in folders. This especially concerns references of the type “book” of which I often have a pdf of each chapter. I also add the book cover in that folder, named “cover.jpg” (I am used to that for organizing my music file...

Re: Smart Groups - Multiple Search Conditions
The boolean operations are performed in sequence, there are no parentheses (groupings). So the search would be house AND eat OR eating OR food. […] Jon Sonny Software I was wondering what exactly it means that logical “operations are performed in sequence”, i.e. what would A AND B OR C AND D amount...
