Secondary Sources - Citation within a Citation
Hi there,
How do you edit a temporary citation so that a secondary source can be referenced? e.g. Stryker 1980 in Stets and Burke, 2000
With apologies if this question has been asked previously.
Best,
Euan

Re: Delete from Group and Main Library
First, clear the Hits List (Hits menu). Then click on your group and mark each reference you want to delete (check the box). When you're finished, click on the Hits group, select all the references in the main pane, then press Delete. Jon Sonny Software Jon, one more question on this...I need to pr...

Delete from Group and Main Library
Hi there, I am using Bookends to Manage my PhD lit review. I have created folders for my search terms and now going through a process of 'sifting' the articles. I wondered how I can remove a record in the main library from deleting the record in the specific group? The article gets removed on delete...

Re: iCloud PDF Increments
The new editor is perfect for my needs...and the iOS is even better as I use my apple pencil often for mark ups. So this is great, thank you. I have one feature request...is it possible to have something in settings to prevent the PDF opening in another editor so that the PDF can only be edited in b...

Re: iCloud PDF Increments
Hi Jon, Thanks for coming back to me. It's the same behaviour as outlined here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6637807#27066544022 If I right click the file in bookends folder within iCloud and open in PDF expert or Acrobat, the file name is appended with an increment number (whether opening d...

iCloud PDF Increments
Hi there I have a frustrating quirk when using iOS sync, which appears to be an iCloud issue rather than Bookends but wondered if anyone has found a way around this. Any time I Annotate a PDF in an external editor (such as PDF expert), the file name increments and Bookends can’t find it…or worse, if...
