I don't have "database maintenance" under file. I only have "library maintenance", as I had originally written. Is that what you mean or am I missing something obvious...?

Sorry for never sending the library. I got on to something else and time flies. So when you say "needed repair" does that just involve File-library maintenance-"repair"? Or is the "repair" done otherwise? If so, how? Thank you.

Seems very strange to me I experience the problem only within BE and only with a very few references, whereas for the rest, everything works great. The paperclip has worked flawlessly for me. But I have now a few documents with which it will not open up the attachment in default pdf reader (preview) as it does with all the others. I see the attachment within BE in the window for attachments, but the paperclip is not opening the doc in preview. ...

The search errors said:
"Record '246' is locked in the table 'the references'.
And another time same message with '777' as record.

I see the attachments didn't go. No clue. I add the attachments and the status bar shows a hasard sign.
