I did it this way and when using "Turabian Author-Date.fmt" it appears:
(Pl.) - as a citation in the text
Pl. Tim. - in the bibliography.
What I need is to quote in the text and footnotes the abbreviated form "Plot. Tim." when using the Author-Date style ... maybe it is not possible in this ...

Abbreviation for ancient authors and works
In my paper I am using the “Turabian Author-Date” for modern authors and it works well.
However, I need to quote the ancients authors and their works in an abbreviated form, for ex.
Pl., Tim. for Plato, Timaeus.
How can I do that? Should I create a new format? (Biblio, Formats Manager)?
