Incidentally, "van" in Afrikaans means surname and this is from a South African author so the lower case on the "van" may be appropriate. Hmmm, something for me to consider before making my final submission.

Good morning, I can seem to find on the forum or figure out how to enter an author with spaces in their last name. The fix was to turn off Live Bibliography. However, there was also something wrong with the document, according to Mellel, and after creating a new document, the issue went away.

UPDATE - if I turn off "Live Update" in the bibliography panel in Mellel the popup goes away until I do a manual scan when I am ready to generate my citations and bibliography. No other solution has presented itself at this time.
