Thanks, Jon and iandol for your help!
I remember now that the dates were the issue with Pandoc for me too. I'lll see if I can get something working based on your regex.

Re: [Feature Request] Support CSL-JSON Format
Thanks for adding this in 15.1.2 Is it only possible to use one synced file? I've been using the synced BibTeX file, and the new option for CSL-JSON is grayed out. Do I need to delete the synced BibTeX file in order to sync CSL-JSON instead? I actually would love to be able to produce both for use i...

Re: Options for PDF highlight shape
Well pointing out the inconsistency when I contacted them might have been helpful after all. The latest TestFlight version of their own PDF Viewer (2024.11) has this note: " Removes the curved edges on text highlights". I checked and using their buttons no longer creates rounded/curved edg...

Re: Options for PDF highlight shape
Thanks! Yeah it seems a bit overly complex. I had been hoping that it could have been something they could have added to their configurable defaults. I tried playing around with their code samples and was surprised that the rounded highlights are only added by their default buttons. If an app adds h...

Re: Options for PDF highlight shape
Hi again, When I contacted PSPDFKit, it sounds like the default toolbar buttons are hard coded to calculate rounded rectangles for highlights for some reason. I checked, and highlights created programmatically apart from the default buttons are actually already rectangular. For whatever reason, they...

Options for PDF highlight shape
Hi. Is there any way to change the shape of highlights created in PDFs with Bookends for iOS so that the start and end of the highlight are rectangular instead of rounded?

Re: Open PDF in another app
I use PDF Expert for highlighting, and sharing pdf file from Bookends leads to export/saving pdf file to PDF Expert, not opening the file from its original location (attachment folder of Bookends). I think this is how PDF Expert works on iOS/iPad when opening a file from an external location. I usu...

Re: Page separator for citation format
Hi Jon,
I've sent you an email with the format file attached.
I'm not really sure where the @ before the page numbers is coming from either. I couldn't find any options that appeared to set it.
Thanks for your help!

Page separator for citation format
Hi, Following up on my post in the iOS forum (https://www.sonnysoftware.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=5992), I was tried to get citations working as desired on Mac. I created a custom format to use with `Copy Citation` under `Scan & Bib` in settings. Setting `Field Order` to $@$u1 , I was able to g...

Copy selection as quote with citation
Is it possible on iOS to copy the currently selected text in a PDF as a quote along with a citation? What I’m thinking of is something like the following that I coukd paste as text into another app if I have temporary citations set to Pandoc: > some quoted text [@citeKey, p. 35] Is something like th...

Thanks so much for adding the option to use a custom Format for Citekeys. It works exactly as I had hoped.

Re: Citation key options for multiple authors
Thanks, Dellu, for describing how it would disrupt your workflow. I'm definitely not advocating for a kind of change that would mess things up for other people. I am already aware of other ways of checking the reference information for a citation in Texstudio and other apps. The request for an addit...
