is there a way to sort the bibliography by user1 instead of author/date when using journal article choice and API 7th Edition. I'd like to modify the format to have [user1] reference [user1] reference 2 etc. sorted by the user 1 values. I can edit the field to have [u1] at the beginning so that work...

Is it possible to take a Word or PDF document that has a bibliography within it, extract all those references into Bookends as new references for the database?

Is there a way to automate this?

It seems bookends is oriented toward classical references, - books, journals that are published on paper and may also have an online version.
