Internet search produces nothing

Miner used to work great.
Latest Bookends searches--even LOC ISBN--give nothing.

Hi folks-- Upped cache to 100M (why skimp?) Still no go. Contacted Tech Support, so we'll see. I sure would love to save it. RE backup-- I could show you the 15 or so emails I've sent out in the past two weeks about precisely that. I've been trying to make an image of the entire HD, but have found i...

Repaired permissions twice ('til clear.)

Tried to rebuild database...

BOOKENDS BLEW UP

Using Bookends a week or so.

Have a database of 10,022 books. Adding 12 more. Transferred 6 and froze. Time after time after time.

Now just shuts down upon opening.

Now what?

Copied database to Desktop; hope I saved it!
Not going to be a happy camper if I didn't.

Duplicate Additions?

Hello--

At first I thought Bookends was blocking duplicate additions, but now I think I'm seeing some.

What, if anything, should happen if I add a source that is already in the database?

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Jon--

As someone who is brand new to this 'stuff,' perhaps you could give me a quick 'How-To' on 'import filters' (or just point me to the page # in the manual.)

Thanks,
Steve

Hi-- Alex--we're not at Princeton Seminary, but at Fuller in Pasadena. PTS has the largest theological library in North America, I believe, and would be great if it was accessible to Bookends. Status Report: Have been trying DEVONthink, and am probably going to get DEVONthink and Agent. Used Bookend...

Bookends +

Hello-- I'm going through the same stages as Alexandria: exploring various software. (trying DEVONthink now, and close to downloading Bookends.) Does Bookends basically let you access the bibliographical info and abstracts, but not the content itself? Are there any good Theological databases to acce...
