Re: Display original and recent year of citation
Hi there. I have a similar problem. I figured out how to get the original date in the bibliography using a similar system to what Ozean discribes so I get for instance Freud, S [1913] (2001) Totem and Taboo. London: Routledge. in the bibliography by having a [u1] (d) t. u2~ edn.~ l: u. in the format...

Re: Original-Publlication-Date in citation
Hi Jon, I have a similar question. If I'm using my own custom format, where would I enter a [u1]d , for example, to see Foucault ([1976]1998) within the text itself. I have managed to change the settings so I see the original publication date within the bibliography, e.g. Foucault, M [1976] (1998) T...

Re: Issue number appears twice
Yes, this in example of the correct coding which works with journal articles. However, the example in my first post, is the incorrect one which is articles downloaded from the net. Since the coding seems the same, I do not understand why it works with one but not the other...

Re: Issue number appears twice
Thanks for the suggestion, Ozean. However, this box is not ticked, so unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the problem…

Issue number appears twice
This is perhaps quite simple, but I don't seem to understand why… When journal articles are formatted the volume and issue number shows up fine. E.g. Buchanan, R (1992) ‘Wicked Problems in Design Thinking.’ Design Issues , 8(2) : 5-21. However, in articles accessed online, the formatting doubles the...

Re: Simple format question
Hi Florestan and Jon,
Thank you for your help. Somehow forced quote is now working, which it didn't seem to before. For some reason Jon's suggestion didn't work.
Much appreciated,
Louise

Simple format question
This might be obvious, but I can't seem to get this: :? My format is like this for articles: a (d) 't.' j, v(i): p-. The question is how do I keep the volume number and ':' when the issue 'i' field is empty? At the moment the volume number disappears if there is no issue number. i.e. Allen, M and Wi...

Full name for editor field
I have been trying to find a way of differentiating how names are dealt with. My issue is that I sometimes need a name as surname and initials, and sometimes as full name. For example, if a report is written by an author I need surname/initials, but if a report is authored by an organisation I need ...

Extended formatting of note cards
I know there are several discussions going about the copying of the note cards, and I was very happy to find out about the 'copy as hyperlink' feature. Very useful as I use Skrivener. I was wondering whether there are any plans of extending the formatting options of the note cards? It would be usefu...
