Would it be worth it to find another character which could be added to the beginning of an in-text citation (after the opening bracket) to show the page range and add the reference to the bibliography after a scan?

How can I have an in-text citation with cited pages be transformed after a scan into *just* cited pages, like (34)? I've consulted pages 232-239 of the manual, but I can't seem to find anything, and I could swear that this was possible in the past.

I've tried deleting the library from my iPad, deleting Bookends for iOS from my iPad and reinstalling, force-quitting — but Bookends never syncs upon launch. I always have to invoke sync manually. Is adding drag and drop of references (citations) from Bookends to other apps in Split View on the list of features to add? If not, could you please add it?

Since Bookends for iOS can integrate 1P in the browser, could Bookends for Mac OS do this as well?
