Jon, it occurred to me that it would be helpful enough if I could retrieve a list of all paths that Bookends seeks attachments in (i.e. all paths containing at least one Bookends attachment).

Is it possible? Perhaps I could find this info in some .pref file?

To pick up on Jon's comment: although there is a well-documented way to sync files outside the ~/Dropbox folder using symlinks, syncing Bookends formats or preferences in this manner will likely result in Bookends crashes. Still, as Jon said, you may use Dropbox to sync the database and attachments.
