Saving and keeping groups for later work?

I would be interested to know how others here work with (static) groups. Do you keep and collect the groups of your work in folders and subfolders, do you delete them after the associated project is completed, or do you store them externally in some form? I am accumulating groups that I have created...

You have four options, I think:

I'd like to add a fifth tip: Look at how people with challenging names cite themselves.

Displaced Keywords field in Reference Pane

I can't recall how I did this. But I assume I have pressed a strange key combination and dragged around in the Reference Pane. Now the left border of my Keywords field is displaced and I don't know how to go back to the origin. I have tried to drag the border with the typical key-combinations of cmd...

Re: Compare references

That's actually how it did work, one click. If you wanted to copy from one reference to the other - as I remember -, you had to click on each field and then the according fields of both references opened side by side. I meant this „a click too much“ having in mind that both references could have op...

Re: Compare references

Jon, I have used the „Compare References“ window in the past. Because this is typically part of maintenance work and was somewhat clunky, I was doing this from time to time but not regularly. Recently I saw errors when I tried to change some fields but not all of them. IMHO "Compare References“...

BOT Sync and attachments

I was thinking of a neat way to only have those PDF attachments on board which I will really use when on tour with the iPad. I don't need all of my thousands of attachments with me (to keep some iPad space for other apps), but I need some PDF files having more than 50 MB. So I couldn't use the size ...

Re: Attachment Folders

Hi Soram, I am using subfolders to handle my thousands of attachments. My attachment folder has a subfolder for each letter of the alphabet. Those authors with high publication rates get a personal subfolder in the letter subfolder. This works fine, but you have to consider that BE sends automatic a...

Import BibTeX styles and DOI turning Chinese

Hi Jon, dear all, with my change to an Intel iMac I will also transfer my ~30.000 references from Papyrus to Bookends. As recommended I tried to make use of the BibTeX export format in Papyrus and import filter in Bookends. Unfortunately some text formats didn't make the transfer: \underbar{phrase} ...
