In MLA how to deal with multiple works by same author
According to the MLA format, when you have several works by the same author, you are supposed to include the year after the author’s last name: (Barthes 1978) (Barthes 1989) But BE would render both citations as (Barthes). Problems with OS 10.4.8 updater
After I updated to OS X 10.4.8 Bookends refures to run. When I open Bookends, I receive the message, "Can't open format," but it opens the application. The problem is that as soon as I try to do anything, Bookends quits unexpectedly. I'm using a MacBook Pro. Any work around?

BE truncates RTF files before the first reference
I'm having trouble scanning RTF files. BE produces a complete Bibliography without any problems, but the RTF "revised" file is truncated before the first reference. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

I'm trying to use the "Scan document" option to generate a final version of a paper using the MLA format, but I have three problems. 1. The "revised.rtf" version of the paper does not format following the MLA style. Instead of citation in parenthesis --for example, (Johns)--, I j...
