Re: "City" field missing in entering mode
Yes, indeed! I now recall that the fields are named differently in the different formats - btw. is it possible to change the default reference format? Book would suit my needs much better than Journal Article.

"City" field missing in entering mode
Just finished my first day of library work and BOT lived up to expectations - a powerful tool. One thing I missed, was the "City" field when you manually enter a new reference - in my field (history) the place of publication is crucial bibliographic information and now I can only add it wh...

Re: Bookends On Tap
Jon, I am at a loss where to post this, because in the other forum you just asked me to repost it here, at least that is what I thought......could you, please, give me complete fool-proof instructions where to post and discuss BOT? Sorry.....

Re: Bookends On Tap Forum
Can I add a further feature request then? Keyword auto-completion, or any other way of guaranteeing data-consistency upon entering keywords (selecting from a list of existing values) - in fact much more important that WorldCat online search, now that I think of it.

Re: Bookends On Tap Forum
Jon, awesome! I had been dreaming of such a solution for years, experimented with access to hosted BE databases from my Palm device, but it all simply did not work well enough, and of course, did not offer the possibility of actually adding and changing references on the go. Bookends on Tap is one o...

Re: Import from Aleph library catalogs
Thanks, Jon, for this update on the technical side of things. Just because Zotero manages to detect data for every library catalogue on the basis of Aleph I thought this was smth. that did not involve any specific work form the Zotero-developers, that is why I suggested including support into BE as ...

Import from Aleph library catalogs
Unlike Zotero the Bookends Browser cannot import references from library catalogs using the Aleph library catalog software - because Zotero consistently offers import functionality for libraries using this software I thought maybe it wouldn't be very difficult to achieve this in BE as well, or is it...

Re: Setting font for citation in formatting pane
Solved the problem - the bibliography formatter was set to UTF-8 instead of Styled Text and apparently this triggers BE to use Lucida Grande, overriding the font set in the Format. But what if you want to output a bibliography in UTF-8 with Italics etc. in place? Wat is the UTF-8 output option actua...

Setting font for citation in formatting pane
How can I set the font which is used for displaying the formatted citation in the formatting pane? It always used to be the font specified for bibliographies in my bibliography format, but for some reason it has shifted to a font which does not contain Italics (Lucida Grande as far as I can see), an...
