I love the new feature of scanning, wonderful! Perhaps it is not possible, but it would be ideal if Library of Congress was used (or at least the option to use it first, google books second). The reason is that I want the LOC Call number, but Google Books doesn't provide this information.

Thanks for the responses all. It is helpful to know how I can potentially use ChatPDF in Bookends. In my mind, it was (perhaps in the future once it gets better), a simple way to ask questions about the specific PDF that is being read without having to upload or leave the reading space

I've only used reference notes (in the Notes field) but if PDF annotation notes provide the same functionality (pg#, quote, note) plus this type of browsing ability, I'd definitely make use this option instead.

Just another voice to support this request (I’ve voiced the request before as well). Notecard and quotation ability on iOS would make it so much more valuable as the reason I pay the subscription is primarily because reading a PDF on my iPad is better than my Mac.

Hmm, okay. I wonder if I had just done something wrong. I am syncing my custom files via Dropbox, and sync my library and attachments with iCloud. But I had to manually do my reference types and my color labels.
