Thanks for the response Jon, for me it is not really 'notes' that i need, as much as notecards. Notecards to hold individual quotations from a book. each book has many quotations, currently i have been bashing them into the notes section, which works, and I use devonthink pro to hold many thousands ...

SegmentMap Corrupted
So i was working along last night and decided to delete about 20 references out 8500 and bookends crashed, now when I open the file I get SegmentMap Corrupted and clearly have lost data. if i use a smart folder it says segment error, 618 is wrong, 617 is last. I try to repair and it crashes after 8k...

Interesting idea. The interface certainly becomes unwieldy, though. You know that notes are shown in the concise view, right? And if you have words entered in the Live Search textbox, the found word(s) will be highlighligted in red. This may (or may not) be helpful for you. Jon Sonny Software That ...

feature request: find in the notes window
i can't use find or command-f to search the notes window. i have to cut and paste my notes into something else to search that field. I keep all of my notes from the book in the notes field, if i could just use apple search within that field, it would be very worthwhile for me.
