Embed COinS in HTML export
I am having trouble embedding COinS reference metadata in an HTML bibliography. I have verified that "Embed reference metadata..." is checked in preferences. Next, I choose File > Export References (Hits)... and export the hits to HTML using my bibliography format. However, when I open the...

Re: Problem with word 2008
I experienced a problem similar to what Alex described. In my case, Word 2008 never hung, but strange things would happen to the scanned version of the document. Sometimes references would get moved around and reformatted to a different style. Some references got omitted altogether. And most disturb...

Jon, Thanks for taking the feedback seriously -- I look forward to the poll. I've lived with BE 10 for about a week now, and in general I love it. But for the way I use Bookends, the new location of the keywords field is a big drag, for reasons others have already articulated. Here's a new reason: w...

The first is more universal but ugly. The second is more restrictive but slicker. Any thoughts (or other options)? I would favor the universal but ugly option. Most of my collaborators live in a Windows world (as did I until six months ago), so using Bookends is not an option for them. I would be m...

Bookends server-based collaboration
I agree wholeheartedly with ozean. This feature would be near the top of my list—I'd even be willing to pay more for it. One indicator of demand for this feature may be the popularity of services like CiteULike and Connotea. These service provide a way to manage and share references online, but th...

Bookends server-based collaboration
Has there been any move toward allowing authenticated users to update a Bookends DB on a server? I'm working on a few collaborative projects, and it would be extremely useful to have a shared Bookends DB that collaborators could update and help to maintain.

Jon, It does seem to be close to RIS. The format isn't specified on the Wiley website, but here's an example: AU: Darna L. Wiley InterScience
Bookends doesn't seem to include a built-in filter for Wiley InterScience's plain text export format. Is there an existing filter?
Thanks.
Thanks.
