Opening Attachments in Preview

How does one force Bookends to open PDF attachments in Preview rather than Acrobat? I much prefer Preview, but I can't seem to have BE always use that app when I press the shift key and click on the attachment button.

Bookends exchange references with Endnotes

I haven't actually tried it, but how good is Bookends' ability to exchange data with EndNotes or Reference Manager. I work with others who use those programs and it would certainly be helpfull. Also, it one devotes many weeks to compiling a reference database, it would be good to know that you could...

Seems to be fixed

Deleting both of the preference files (preferences and plist) seems to have corrected the problem. I guess one of them became corrupted.

Bookends Crashes when attaching file

Bookends application crashes when I try to attach a PDF file to a reference. I rebuilt the database and made sure that the folder with the PDF files is selected in preferences, but it's still crashing. Anyone else having this problem?

References in footnotes

I'm new to Bookends and having difficulty with references or citations as footnotes, not at the end of the document. How does one copy a temporary reference to a footnote, then when reading have Bookends change the tempory reference to a properly formated citation? The users manual gives instruction...
