I am using the default APA 5th ed. formats, and I can't seem to make the following work:

(Author, Year1; Year2)

I get:

(Author, Year1; Author, Year 2)

for the same author on 2 papers.

Any advice for what I might be doing wrong or need to do?

I launch bookends by clicking on the "go to bookends" button from within word. When I do this, it opens the program, but I have to manually open a database. There is no database open automatically.

Is there a way to set a default database that would automatically open when bookends is launched?
