I imported a paper from Journal of Clinical Oncology, one of the most famous cancer journals, still greyed out after rebuilding the database.

Is this an indication of a corrupt library? Why does this happen?

Can not use autocomplete to automatically fetch author, title etc on the recent 2 papers I imported into the library. Have restarted the app, that don't work. In the menu (Ref - autocomplete paper) the autocomplete paper is greyed. Any suggestions?

Is the latest version of Bookends compatible with MacOS Sierra?

Quite amazing that Bookends has been developed since 1983, it is older than Photoshop, which is the oldest software I know off which is still beeing developed (besides Bookends).

I was thinking of the unique ID and it was as simple as to enlarge the edit reference tab Thanks!

I use the latest version of Bookends (version 12.6.5). In previous versions the ID number of the reference was in the upper left corner of the "edit reference" tab. Where is this ID now?

I just downloaded it a few hours before writing the two posts.
Anyway, I downloaded it again just a few minutes ago - same problems, even with flatten group list hierarchy.

After installing the latest version of Bookends (v 12.6.2) all my smart groups was converted to folders without any references. Trying to create new smart folders now, but the app auto-quits all the time. The 4th time during the past 30 minutes. Anyone else experiencing the same? I have Mac OS X 10....

The Bookends watched folder is not working. I have set up the watched folder twice, both times without any PDFs inside the folder. After moving some PDFs to the folder, the PDFs are not imported. Anyone else having the same issue?
