Sorting by field User1 for LaTeX users
Would it be possible to add field User1? LaTeX users would benefit a lot from this addition. Thanks!

Re: A.I. integration?
I’ve been using Google’s NotebookLM with success, outside BE. It is an AI that works with uploaded PDFs and you have to create an account. It’s incredible what it can do (with the questions you ask)

Re: Superb improvement of Journal Glossary
Suggestions for a future version: 1. Enable search for any word of the title. As of now, either searching or typing applies to only the first word of the work. If user recalls only the middle part of a work she is out of luck. 2. Enable searching of either title or abbreviation without having to cli...

Possibly a bug when changing case of titles in standalone reference window
Both global change - change case, and secondary click change case work as expected in Library window. But they send error message when applied to standalone reference windows. I don't know if this is machine related or a reproducible bug. Global change is also greyed out in standalone window.

Re: Superb improvement of Journal Glossary
I think I mistakenly assumed the following words to have something to do with importing references into my own custom glossary, that’s why I asked. “For me, the biggest improvement is the massive increase in journals the Medline glossary, which now contains over 19000 journals, compared to a bit ove...

Re: The Bookends Guide to the SBL format
For those working with BibLaTeX, the second edition of the SBL style is updated and well maintained by David Purton on GitHub. https://github.com/dcpurton/biblatex-sbl This means you would use BE only to build the Bib file with Format Manager. All the rest is compiled automatically in LaTeX. No mor...

Superb improvement of Journal Glossary
Version 15 brings a welcome search feature to journal glossary. Thank you! I was missing that. I notice that one has to choose a column sort by clicking the bar prior to using search. For next version a global search on the glossary would be an added convenience, without having to sort a column. But...

Re: Bookends 14.1.7: Citekeys
It is important not to use accent marks or symbols in the citekey due to the nature of LaTeX and Biber. As an alternative, you could create a field that will help you classify or organize your references with non-roman characters. For example, in the reference below I have two fields (SBLHS and FMT)...

Re: Problems with macros in Bookends 14.2.7
I’m using two keyboard maestro macros without a problem. These macros I built to generate a bib file for LaTeX from a selected static folder.
