Re: How to print list of entire bib, sorted with unique ID
Does it somehow matter where the Unique ID column is in the bibliography window? It is on the right in mine. Again the format is: @, a, d, t.

Re: How to print list of entire bib, sorted with unique ID
Hi, thanks for helping! But I've done that. Now it is sorting according to date... It's driving me nuts!

Re: How to print list of entire bib, sorted with unique ID
Sorry, but it really doesn't work. It either sorts according to date, or according to author.
I unmarked everything, clicked on Unique ID it was sorted according to Unique iD. Then I generated to bibliography, and it was sorted according to author...

Re: How to print list of entire bib, sorted with unique ID
Thanks! How do I stop it sorting according to date? My output format is @, a, d, t. The Unique ID column is on the right hand side, and I clicked it before creating the bibliography. All looked ok, but the output bibliography refuses to be sorted by ID.

How to print list of entire bib, sorted with unique ID
Hi, I am encountering some problems with getting my references right, and have decided to be very thorough and double-check everything. Therefore I need a list of all my 1300 references, as it appears in the regular interface, that is Author, Date, Title, Unique ID (I want to sort the list according...

Re: Inline Citations, page numbers
Ok... too over enthusiastic... This gives me only the date in the bibliography when there is no author... If somebody could have a go at this, there are two variables here: 1. author / no author 2. pages / no pages if there is no author, I want Bookends to use the journal title instead if there are ...

Re: Inline Citations, page numbers
Ha! I know I shouldn't be bragging, but I think I've got it now, and I DO like Bookends much better now, feeling more in control
{a. “t.” f v$, no. $i` `^f. v$, no. $i` ` “t.”} {(d): p-^(d)}`.
Ha! Thanks everyone!

Re: Inline Citations, page numbers
Tahnk you, I was wondering about it, but just found it out myself, which makes me feel smart now :-) One other question regarding the bibliography: I use the following for journal articles: a. “t.” f v$, no. $i` `(d): p-. It works fine for most references. However, I have some in my library that do ...

Inline Citations, page numbers
Ok, I guess this is a daft question, but I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong: I'm trying to set up a customised format for bibliography and inline citations. For the latter, I need (Author, Date: cited page or page range). What I did was (a, d: p-). After formatting I get something like (Mi...

How do you refer to a citation with a reference? Like: (Smith, 2008: 56; cited in Miller, 2010:111)? Up until now, I have inserted both references {Smith, 2008 #14345@56} {Miller, 2010#124@111} and then fiddled them together somehow. But I am sure that this is not the way... Any hints are very much ...

Move attachments to attachment folder
This might be a really obvious one, but I just don't get it. I've migrated my Endnote library to Bookends. I used to keep corresponding pdfs separately, in a folder somewhere on my computer and link to that folder. Now I have come to see the glory of bookends attachment folder and want all my attach...

Bookends scan in Word changes some formats
Hi,
I've noticed that after scanning a document, some of my "styles" changed: I use a specific one for blockquotes, and after the scan the font size (usually 11) has changed to 12 (which is the standard for regular paragraphs). Why is this and can I prevent it somehow?
