PSPDFKit is a well-configured framework, but we're trying to stick to its default behavior. Since it's a big and complex tool, supporting too specific requests like this in our project could cause some problems that we want to avoid.

I assume you are using this search criteria in the Smart group predicate. I just tried it and can confirm that 'Notes' is '' (no value set) doesn't work as expected. This issue will be fixed in the next update.

Bookends for iOS works this way with attachment folders:
If your library is cloud synced the path is automatically set to the iCloud Bookends Folder.

Please try rebooting your device first. Then, if you are sure that your data was previously synced, please try to remove Bookends from your device and then reinstall it. These actions might trigger a refresh in iOS purchase statuses. Additionally, check in iOS Settings -> your name -> Subscriptions ...

It's a known problem for other apps also, maybe macOS will make it visible one day.
