Iandol, we agree that the idea of some “bridge” between Bookends and Zotero libraries looks interesting. Some type of data migration of course, I’m not sure that it can be done 1:1 because of a few conceptual differences in data storage.

Please try to delete Bookends for iOS from one of your iPads and try to sync it with a newly created temporary library on Mac. If it doesn't work please try to create a computer-to-computer network (just for a test) as described in the Troubleshooting Wi-Fi sync (https://www.sonnysoftware.com/booken...

It's a new app. Just sync it via Bookends Wi-Fi and all your references and attachments will be transferred from macOS to iOS, if everything is OK after sync just delete Bookends On Tap from the device.

Please check in Bookends for iOS Settings that "Autosync Wi-Fi" is turned off, then on the next sync you will see the Sync Window in Bookends for Mac with all necessary settings, including file size limits.

Bookends On Tap was removed from the App Store in 2017. And it's really nice to hear that it still works great! Please try to force quit Bookends for iOS and then try to empty trash again, if it doesn't help please wait for the next app update.

Yes, currently, our Bookends for iOS db search engine is limited to basic searches, we are planning to improve it.

Navigation between references with arrows should work and we have a set of commands, including copying temporary and final citations, called via the command button. Are you using Bookends in Split Screen mode? Maybe another app just always holds the keyboard focus..?

Thanks for the report. This problem should be fixed in the next update.

Tap and hold on any visible notecard and via the contextual menu you will see the "Show all notes" option. All notes can be edited as plain text there.

Google scholar or arXiv (the two that I use), I see directly the settings to return search results sorted by date among other options.

By default, arXiv and Google Scholar search results are sorted by Relevance, but it can be changed to Date in Settings -> Search Engines -> Engine options.
