Duh. Once I turned the iPad to landscape mode, I was able to see the missing portion of the page.

My sync between BOT and Bookends failed because of different time/date between the two machines. I checked both my iMac and my iPad, and they have the same time. the iPad does not seem to allow me to select a particular time server; the iMac uses the Apple server with Cupertino time, the iPad is set ...

I was trying to sync BOT with BookEnds and ended up stuck on a screen that says "No reference selected" Screen shot attached. I don't know how to get back to the home screen, and seem to be stuck here.
