Re: Feature request: Automatically resize PDFs
Apologies for not being clear: The request is for this to be a default, not a selection.

Feature request: Automatically resize PDFs
The option to automatically display PDFs, and other attachments, to fill the Attachment pane would be welcome.

Re: AppleScript to Export Notes in OPML
Thanks for helping with this. I'm attaching a sample output file.
I would like the PMID to appear in the citation key (instead of the unique id), if possible.
Thanks again!

Re: AppleScript to Export Notes in OPML
iandol: Thanks for posting this. The OPML file I generate with your code cannot be read by Scrivener, Tinderbox, or OmniOutliner. I tried debugging but failed. Thanks.

Re: AppleScript to Export Notes in OPML
I prefer to use PMID for citations to allow for collaboration with colleagues that use other Bookends libraries.
I can't figure out where, in the script, to replace BE's unique ID with user18; would appreciate guidance. Thanks!

Re: AppleScript to Export Notes in OPML
Thanks much for this, David! I'm trying to figure out how to use PMID instead of reference ID, but I am stumped. Would appreciate a hint! Thanks.

Re: Best practice for converting databases in the cloud
I might be missing something, but it seems that the current process requires "managing" the library twice, one on each machine. If the library is in the cloud, and was converted, it would be more "elegant" if BE on the second machine would take advantage of the fact that there al...

Best practice for converting databases in the cloud
I upgraded to 12.8.1 on one machine, and converted the library. Library synced to iCould. I then upgraded BE on my second machine, and, as expected, I am asked to convert the library (since the cloud sync does not happen before the library is open). What is the best strategy? Remove the library from...

When I try that, I get the following error

Year only in Date field?
Some references import, into the Date fields, the year, followed by the month and date. Is there a way to set the default behavior to import only the year?

Re: When is BookEnds going to implement Apple tags?
Yes, I understand that this would tag files. I was suggesting that, if possible, there would be a field that displays the tags assigned to attachments linked to that reference.

Re: When is BookEnds going to implement Apple tags?
I, too, would very much like to be able to tag attachments, and to have a dedicated field for tags.
Even better: the ability to batch tag (and batch edit tags) would be powerful.
