new bibliography bug in v 12
Word 2004 Grouped citations in numbered endnotes are not being separated by a semicolon in v 12. (see attached screenshot) Note also that the author formatting is incorrect (multiple authors no separated by commas). In another style producing a bibliography, author formatting is incorrect and multip...

strange page number issue
If I put in page numbers like this: 81, 83-87 My reference is getting formatted like this: De Boer HW. 1962. Enige varitteiten van Lihtops lesliei (N.B.Br.) N.B.Br. Succulenta 1962(7): 81, 83–81, 87. I have verified that this problem exists for all the bib formats I installed. Is this new in v. 12?

Re: possible problems
As a follow-on, a leading space in an author name causes the citation to rise to the top, a trailing space sends it down. Blank lines in the author field also cause alphabetization problems.
Extra space in multiple citations listed together was a fault of my citation format.

possible problems
I have found a few possible problems with Bookends. I outline them here. 1. White space in author list affects alphabetization. I've attached a screenshot of the citation window, but this comes up in a formatted bibliography as well. So if ordering is supposed to be by author, date, title, you can s...

Re: insert bibliographic citation instead of name-date or nu
Are they? How so? If I want a bibliographic entry in a footnote, how would that be different, in your opinion?

Re: Name-date options, normal case
This process is unbelievably obtuse. I need "and" between TWO authors. In lists of THREE OR MORE, no "and". Again, this is an option in the Author-Date citation style, and not available in the custom style. So, now that I've stated this three times, is there a solution that allows...

Re: insert bibliographic citation instead of name-date or nu
Yes, I understand that, as I said, but then there are two settings to maintain, and one must remember to update both. If there were an option in the "standard" settings to use the bibliographic setting, then there would be only one.

Re: Name-date options, normal case
I want the names capitalized in a consistent manner, not how they were entered. For bibliographic formatting the capitalization is settable, but the the citation it is not. Which means that the format must be consistent in the database itself, which is a bit difficult to achieve if the references co...

insert bibliographic citation instead of name-date or number
Is there a way to insert an entire bibliographic reference (instead of a name-date or number) in place of a temporary citation? This would be handy for footnotes that contain referneces. I see that it is possible to set up a "custom" style, but this would be a duplication of the bibliograp...

Name-date options, normal case
Under Formats manager:Citation options, the name-date citation style seems to capitalize the author name by default. I can't see a way to change this. If I do a custom citation style, I can get close, but there I can't get two authors to be separated by "and".

Re: bugs and improvements
Oh you've got to be kidding. What's the purpose of this forum other than to provide solutions to issues people are facing? I would have thought that, if this were trivial, I might receive the solution on the forum.

Re: how do I add multiple citations at once?
What I'm looking for is a way to enter multiple citations at once. Selecting them is not helpful if I have hundreds of citations I need to search through. Example: I search 1975 and pick one of 15 references from 1975. I click the checkbox. Then I search for the author Cole. I pick two of his 47 pap...

how do I add multiple citations at once?
I want to add several citations at once. I find each one and click the checkboxes next tothem. Then I look for a way to select the checked citations so I can add them. I don't see a way to make this selection without panning back through the list and finding each one manually. Is there a way to copy...
