I deleted the previous bookends and downloaded and installed the new 12.5.5 from your downloads page. But my watch folder is not getting pulled into the database...Any other recommendations?

I installed the 12.5.5. update and BE is not seeing my watch folder which is on my external drive. I have pointed the FILE --import from watch folder to the correct folder on that drive but it is not pulling my pdfs that in that folder into the BE program

Your recommendation appreciated ...

I did a fresh download and got an error message below

The software also emailed it to you

This is one of the main features I use in Bookends and it worked SO well till this upgrade

Please tell us what you were doing when this error occurred ...

I downloaded the latest version of Bookends and find the click to import button does not work
When I am in Pubmed and find an abstract I want to keep, if I click the "click to import button" in the upper right, the program crashes totally and I have to reload it and start again

Is this going to be ...

when I do online search in PUBMED

Find the article I want and click the the down arrow button in the top right
It does not pull the reference article showing to allow me to put the reference in my library

Love the new PDF features but they don't seem to be working right :(

Where I highlighted and it went to the notes but then when I came back to the article , each note IS LINKED to the text but the text inside the note is GONE!!

That is correct ...I will drag them into an empty bookends....then it is ok to leave them in the same folder as they are in and call THAT the attachments folder for future articles as pdf as well?

Per the new update for BE with expanded New PDF viewer with search, markup, and annotation

when I open a pdf in Preview and mark it up --having selected “Use Annotation View for PDFs” in the Action pop-up menu underneath the reference list.
I get NO NOTES at all in Bookends ! --even after ...
