How do I get the repeated citation of idem to appear in small caps?

Is there a way to setup multiple editions with superscript. for example: Commentary (new york ^2^1903; ^3^1920) Here in europe, in the bibliography and while citing you need to include the different additions, and before these in superscript the edition number. Is there anyway to do this in Bookends?
