Re: Help with a custom citation format
So I think I just figured out part of this. I changed the way I organized the references in the footnote to: {Avril, 2009, #115@74-79; Gautier, 2009, #41@25-26; Freigang, 2011, #4@183} This produced: François Avril, “Quelques Observations,” 2009, 74-79.; Marc-Édouard Gautier, “La Bibliothèque Du Roi...

Help with a custom citation format
Hi all, I feel like I almost have this, but something is missing, and have a couple of questions/requests for help. 1) I am trying to create a custom format in the style that my publisher wants. Essentially they are looking for citations that are formatted like this (the example is for an unedited b...

Re: Help with constructing a search
Thank you. That seems to have worked perfectly.
I'm using Mellel. Am I correct in understanding that if I "Verify Citations" in the Bibliography tab for the document that the Hits list in BE is then automatically filled with the citations from the document?

Help with constructing a search
Hi,
I am trying to construct a search to show me all entries without any data in the 'Short Title' field. I would like to limit it to references that are in the document I am currently working on.
Can anybody offer a suggestion as to how to do both?
Thank you!

Sync - Best Practices?
Hi, I just downloaded Bookends On Tap and absolutely love working on it on the iPad. So far it's very smooth and intuitive! I do have a question about the sync. Does BoT automatically sync with Bookends? So if I add notes to a reference, should I expect them to appear in Bookends as well, or do I ne...

Re: Search Terms Highlighted in Notes?
Thanks for that suggestion Jon. I've just played around with it. It seems to only highlight the first occurrence of the search term in the notes. I've noticed that I can then do Cmd-G to move to the next occurrence so that's helpful. Is there anyway to make this a feature request? In a long note str...

Search Terms Highlighted in Notes?
Is there a way to perform a search through all notecards that then highlights the word(s) in the notecards?

Re: Move from Sente?
Thank you! That is all very informative and very helpful. I've given a little import a test and it was very easy. I have to say that I really like Bookends interface. I do have a question or two so far. On the entries that I imported with attached notes... Sente seems to have a number of different f...

Move from Sente?
So I am about fed up with Sente and am considering a move to Bookends. But first, I have some questions that I hope I can get some feedback on. One thing I love about Sente is the pdf markup feature and the attached notes. I see the notecards function in Bookends, but can I highlight and/or copy and...
