I have modified Chicago 16th B to my liking. If I use only the regular Chicago 16th B, I still hear it. I do normally just turn the sound off, but as I have alarms that go off that I need to see/hear, it is a bit inconvenient.

12.5.5. Error sound when cmd+Y to Mellel
The new 12.5.5. version makes the error sound for Mac go off each time I use cmd+Y with Mellel (3.3.
. However, it still pastes the citation, so it is just plain weird. I always wonder if something did not work right, because there is also a lag in the insertion.

Yes, please bring back the standalone reference window. For disability reasons: If you need to have the display enlarged, like me (or probably if you have a small screen), you can only see fragments of the title and author (list) at the time. This resulted in the auto-complete adding in many authors ...
