I recently upgraded to Bookends 11, but I'm experiencing some problems using it (BE 11.0.5).
One of them is that it can't import a 6 thousand references bib tex file. BE 11 crashes and quits when performing the import operation (the import starts and crashes afterwards, after 50 or so references ...

Hi!

The automated update still doesn't work; I downloaded Bookends 10.4.2 but I still get the same error message as before (see bellow).
I don't know if there is something wrong with my configuration (old files I should delete? I checked Bookends permissions and they seem ok.)

There are a number of posts about this topic in the forum suggesting that it is possible to use Bookends to access WoS from home using a VPN account.

I would like to know if anyone has actually accessed WoS this way.

My university library recomends the use of a browser to acess WoS and other ...

No special characters (I avoid to use them because I learned the hard way that they are problem makers):

/Applications/Bookends 10 Folder
/Users/ase/Library/Application Support/Bookends

Have you tried if this works in a new user account? Sometimes opening a new user account and trying the action which failed in your normal one helps troubleshooting what may have gone wrong…
