I've thought of something along those lines as well. But word processors ofen include internal formatting code in the middle of words (in RTF), so a simple search in the document is bound to fail on many occasions. Also, this really would affect a minority of cases: Bookends already puts the biblio...

Re: some more formatting requests/suggestions

~ One of the biggest pains for SBL formatting is that it does not standardize its cited page style, i.e. not every citation ends with comma-cited page-period. For eg., a journal looks like this: Danny Zacharias, "Journal article Title," JBL 100 (2006): 19. As you can see, it is colon-spac...

Jon Sonny Software Jon, this is really quite important for people working in the humanities or formatting according the the Chicago Manual of Sty...

custom format doesn't appear in 8.0.3

I just upgraded to 8.0.3 (thanks for the en-dash fix, Jon!) but my custom format doesn't appear in the Formats Manager, even though it is in the Custom Formats Folder in the Bookends folder. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions for how to get Bookends to recognize it?
