Re: Change of Citation Now Not Scanning Correctly

I've made a draft of an MHRA (Footnotes) format. If you would like it, please write to support@sonnysoftware.com

Re: Change of Citation Now Not Scanning Correctly

It's a different format so of course the output is different. The MHRA format we ship uses Author-Date citations, which is what you see. There is a different MHRA style for footnotes, which we don't have. I can work on one, but if you are in a hurry you can create it yourself in Formats Manager. Jon...

Re: Change of Citation Now Not Scanning Correctly

I'm not sure what you think is wrong, but what I see is that you're not using cited pages properly. Don't include the p., that should be provided by the format you are using. The temp cite should be

Re: Remove URL from Citation

Edit the format you are using so that the URL isn't included (remove the $Retrieved from$ z).

Re: How to translate the occurence of "Retrieved from" in the Bibliography?++

No, Bookends doesn't supply any text, certainly not "st, nd, etc.".

Look at affected references themselves, the user2 field (usually labeled Edition).

Re: How to translate the occurence of "Retrieved from" in the Bibliography?++

Let the format provide the punctuation marks.

For the metadata, that's up to you. Bookends doesn't know what's in the fields, only humans do.

Do a Global Change -> Search/Replace in the Edition field and replace st, nd, rd with nothing.

Re: How to translate the occurence of "Retrieved from" in the Bibliography?++

All are possible. Please go to the Help menu and take the various tutorials (video and PDF). And the User Guide is a large but comprehensive manual. The format you are using dictates what the bibliography and citations look like. Open it in Formats Manager and edit the Internet Type so that Retrieve...

Re: How to include cited paragraphs instead of pages in citation

Chicago 17th already uses a comma and space before cited pages. So you can simplify:

Re: How to include cited paragraphs instead of pages in citation

You'd have to edit the format and remove the period after the title (assuming the period is not in the reference itself). You could try {Kearney et al., 1980, Heidegger et la question de Dieu #1394@\,\ § 12.} but I can't promise that will give you what you want. (note that if in the format you have ...

Re: Navigating Search Results with Keyboard

It turns out that it's currently not possible. To make it so would take much more work than you'd imagine, so it's something I wouldn't undertake lightly, but I'll keep it in mind.

Hm, a tab used to do it but that was apparently lost when the new toolbar was added. I'll look into that.

Re: Format for Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience ?

I don't know, but use Biblio -> Create Format Catalog. It will show you examples of all the formats we ship, and you can see which match up best with the format you want.
