Re: Link to specific pdf page
Ok, thanks Jon. There are other ways I can make this work in my workflow - and as you say, I should still be able to find things pretty rapidly.

Link to specific pdf page
Apologies if this is a ridiculous request, but I note that several programs (including Devonthink and PDFPen) now have the possibility of creating links to specific pages in a PDF. (And I know that the program Hook is building this into some of their linking abilities). As I rely heavily on Bookends...

Re: Importing only one BE library to DTO
Ahh, that makes sense. Not perfect, but better than nothing I suppose, and will encourage me to bridge more of my bookends smart collections across to DT (Just need to remember to occasionally manually update). Thanks.

Re: Importing only one BE library to DTO
Huh, strange. I followed exactly the same process, but the index option is grayed out. (I.e. I can find the indexed folder, have it added to finder favourites, but cannot save it/index the search).

Re: Importing only one BE library to DTO
Thanks @vulevu. Can you explain how you indexed a smart folder from finder? On my end it comes up as a smart.search folder, but DT can't seem to index such aliases. But maybe I'm being dense?

Re: Question about highlighting
Yes, I suppose I am. I need to have the page number for the citations, and it would be a great help to have the page number in the Ios version. Currently, I can highlight in Bookend on Ios and export to another program and it brings along the page numbers (although often not the correct pages, as it...

Re: Question about highlighting
Really happy to see this introduced today. Is there any chance on the next iteration that page numbers can be included on the note-cards on Ios? That is pretty critical for me, and would speed things up.
Thanks again for moving forward on this!

Re: Question about highlighting
I agree. My current workaround for this - which may be quicker than your current approach - is to do all my highlighting on the Ipad, then export the bookends annotations to Drafts (using a simple shortcut), where I clean up the highlights, give them headers, etc., then copy and paste all them back ...

Re: Import from G Scholar using BE Browser?
I am running Mojave (10.14.6) and generally use the Brave browser (and Bookends is directed to it). I can save the scholar settings fine in Brave (where cookies are accepted), but not in Bookends. And, as above, cannot seem to get the browser to import to BE.
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Import from G Scholar using BE Browser?
I'm having the same issue. Also - and perhaps a silly question - I am not sure how to accept cookies in the BE browser (I cannot save my Google Scholar preferences without them turned on).

I’m having this issue and the “atomic” issue. Re-sync doesn’t seem to resolve anything on my end.

Re: Cross linking support for Devonthink
Is it simply that internal bookends links are now recognized by DTTG? (Because they are, which is helpful!)
