Second question: about double spacing bibliography. I'd like a space between entries in my bibliography. But I don't want the whole thing to be double-spaced. Question about page ranges

I have entered my citations like this {xxxx@20 -- 25}
Now, I'd like to replace the "--" in the resulting citations with an appropriate dash.

How might I do this?
If it can't be done in bookends, can it be done in Mellel somehow?
