Re: "Some citations could not be found..." issue
Thanks Jon. During the scan, I can resolve ambiguous citations, no problem. A "find" is also showing up the references just fine. But the "unmatched citation" window keeps popping up after the warning message. Unless I'm really doing something wrong, I don't know what else to do....

Re: "Some citations could not be found..." issue
Jon, thanks for the prompt reply. You're amazing! I'm using author's names for the temp citations. My work flow is thus: ~author name~ or ~title~; Convert to text citations; Scan Strange that before when testing out different ways of doing the temporary citations, I used the same authors and titles ...

"Some citations could not be found..." issue
I seem to recall this was raised earlier but can't find the thread. Currently I'm running BE 10.5.4 and OS 10.5.7. Just as I'm finishing up a dissertation manuscript, I started getting this error: "Some citations could not be found in the reference database. The bibliography may be incomplete.&...

iPhone iPod Touch Bookends app?
Sorry if this had been asked already (I did undertake a forum search): Jon, do you ever plan on making a Bookends app for the iPhone/iPod Touch? I'm not sure how much work it would be. But I just purchased the MacGourmet app for my iPod Touch and thought that syncing the databases between a device a...

Yet another reason not to support them. Netizens have noted that Thomson is concerned more about disrupting competition than actually improving their product to compete.

DB must be open to import in latest version of BE?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that in earlier versions of BE it was possible to import items from an online search to a database that is not open. Has something changed, or is this a bug of some kind?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

it will be this year. Let's hope the next update for Mellel wll also come soonrer rather than later. My money is on Mellel at this point. But let's hope that updates for both will be coming out soon. This may be getting OT, though it redounds to Jon's efforts to develop Bookends at an impressive an...

It launches about 5 times as slowly on my 1.5 Powerbook..... But ya' buggy it certainly is..! Maybe it'll be cleared up in some x.1 update but I suspect that we may have to wait until Office 2011 is released - in which time new problems will have crept up ;). I just don't understand how such a B I ...

Can't retain All/Summary sidebar in List View after restart
First of all, great job with 10.1.3. Either I'm missing something entirely obvious, or should be writing to Jon directly for tech support. I cannot seem to get the "all/summary" sidebar to remember to display in list view after restarting. Have changed "view" from toolbar, from m...
JSTOR direct searching someday? Ditto daiyi's /drool Already a drool pool. This feature is absolutely fantastic; now I suppose that to access our local library databases it is necessary to ask them for help with the configuration. I tried with VPN the other day but without any luck. In any case, th...
